About Us
We are Chris and Carol, full time travel vloggers from England and Brazil.
In 2016 we went on a road trip in California and after that we decided we wanted to save money to be able to afford travelling full time. For two years we saved money and planned some aspects of our trip. Our initial desire was to travel continuously for two years but now let’s just say we don’t know when this adventure will end. Travelling is addicting!
We film most of our experiences to share those (most of the times) amazing moments and places with the world. Our Youtube channel - that is called Jumping Places - is where we post these videos. We try to make the vlogs very informative so that we can help other travelers too. We know how important it is to have an idea of the prices, the cool things to do, the great places to stay and the tasty food available around the place that we’re travelling to. So we try to share those details whenever possible.
Chris is 32 and was born in Manchester, England.
He moved to Brazil when he was 19 and a few years later he moved to the United States. His job before our travels was in the Oil and Gas industry but he has always been a creative person - his favorite hobby is painting. Creativity is an attribute that definitely helps in creating content. That’s why Chris is responsible for filming most of our footage and also for editing our videos.
Carol is 26 and was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Carol first started her career in the IT field. But she was always passionate about different countries, cultures and politics. She decided to get a bachelor’s degree in International Relations and then she found the area that she really loves. Carol has worked in the Oil and Gas industry and she has also lived in the United States. That’s where we got married. She has been thinking on continuing her studies but for now she will keep on analyzing and learning different cultures around the world in person by travelling full time.
